Couple Complaints...

Now don't take this the wrong way, but I think you need t scrap the Slayer Guitar and replace it with something more realistic...If that's even possible. This is a decent song, but instrument choice and looping need a bit of work.

And steel Drums wtf? Funny touch, but I actually have no idea what genre this would fit best in...maybe all of the at once...

"Good, but Not Great" - Cpt. Price.

thnx for the review

A Few pieces of Advice...

Stay away from the Slayer Guitar's PowerChords Setting...

This is Clearly done in FL7 (or 8), I can tell I use it so for my music too, but one thing about this song it is has no lead. There is only a rythm guitar, which in my opinion was a bad idea...

Also, the drums were not the best, and if I had to guess, I'd say this was a midi file with not much changed...

Plus, the last loop ended about 4 bars into it, which is also a terrible idea for ending a song...

Now then, I know this sounds like I'm ripping this song apart, but at least I can recognize the song, but with Midi files, you need to know when to omit tracks, and what insturments to use at the right time, and also how to sequence drumlines.

There is alot of work that needs to be done before this is perfect, but I hope what I have said here will help you...and please don't think I'm being an asshole...cause people tend to say the lol...

Anyway, good luck with your music making.

thanks for the review!

man, you dont know how long ive been waiting to see a nice explained review like yours

i use fl studio 8, im trying to stay away from fl slayer, but i think it sounds good i am trying to find a different guitar though, on this one i did use a midi file because this song would be way too hard to remix, the other songs i remixed were easy. thanks alot for your review, i appreciate it

You can do that?

I didn't think it was possible to import MIDI directly into GarageBand...

What I ended up doing was printing sheet music and doing a direct translation from notes to...um "Piano Roll" bar and adding my own custom drum beats...

To see what I mean, check out MarioKartFrantic's Music, I did most of it for him, all in GarageBand, and all using the method stated above...lol

Anyway, on to you song... Not bad, just waaayyy tooo much echo (echo, echo, echo)

Lol

RyanTime2 responds:

MIDI -> Mp3/wav -> GB.

Create Music Sheet to add your own instruments.

Guessing GarageBand

I Recognize the voice at the beginning, and the changes in modulation to get different syllables, nice :)

I could see this working quite nicely for a villian's theme, Nice Job :)

camman007 responds:

Correct good ear! I recently found out the modulation tricks and decided to implement into this song heh

Lmao featured in a Hentai Movie, bet you feel good

That....embarassing... fact aside, The song is bitching, mayb tone down the "Heys"
but that's just picky. Great Song none the less

Druids-Warcry responds:

you have no idea man... it is very embarassing... its just one of those "haha we take your Front page song and maybe people will look at out flash" deals.

Fraid I agree with war-spawn.

And he's not the only one that thinks that.... this does sound like a lot of MIDI files, and has about the same (if not worse) quality. I gave you a 5, cause I know it can be hard to make the songs flow into each other, but maybe a better sounding VST(s) would help this a bit....Sorry man, better luck next time.

darphfluffy responds:

the thing is. this ISN'T a VST.

Woah....

Sounds like the original, but woah the panning and echo effects are off the chart....My ears kinda hurt....

Not a fan of 8-Bit, but this made me laugh. so good job :)

But personally, i think Brawl was a huge let-down... I played Melee for 7 years basically (2001-2008), but I just can't make myself play Brawl...Maybe cause they screwed Marth.... I don't know really...

Anyway, Nice annoying little theme you got going there ;) Loops for 3 minutes lmao, but sounds funny anyway, Nice job

TehSeph responds:

I can just say Play Brawl! XD
But yeah, Melee will always be good :3

lol

Song's name is "Like a Glint of Light" but everyone calls it te'thella battle lol...

interesting take on it, synthy doesn't quite work, but good job none the less, I've done this song too, and I like this remix, very nice :)

Earthbound-boy responds:

i wanted to leave it synthy but the harsh synth is meant to be an e-guitar. i didn´t have the right plugin for an e-guitar, so it might sound weird XD. thanks for the critic and review

For the record...

The Song's name is "Full Force"

And lol to the description, You using FL7 (or 8)? Personally, I don't think techno works as well as rock would for this song but you did a damn good job of it. I've remixed this song too, but this is quite awesome. Nice job, nothing seems out of place, so I like it!

10/10, 5/5

Earthbound-boy responds:

yeah i know the right titles of the te´thealla and sylverant battles but i didn´t use them in newgrounds because they maybe don´t find it. haha i am using the old
fl6 for it XD. i am happy you liked this even with the electronic aspects! i am looking for your song too!
thx for review.
